Staff Scientist
Postdoctoral Fellow
Yiquan Xu
Email: yiquan.xu@wustl.edu
Yiquan graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2015. He joined the Chemistry graduate program at Washington University in 2015 and the Henderson lab in 2016. Yiquan is studying siderophore biosynthesis.
Students
John Wildenthal
Graduate Student/MSTP
Email: jawildenthal@wustl.edu
John graduated with a BS in Biochemistry from the Ohio State University. He did an NIH postbaccalaureate year and joined the MSTP and DBBS Systems Biology program. In his graduate studies, John uses mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and microbial genetics to understand how secreted "exometabolites" from microbes influence the development of clinical infections.
Lindsey Steinberg
Graduate Student/MSTP
Email: steinbergl@wusm.wustl.edu
Lindsey earned a B.S. in Chemistry at Washington University and entered the Medical Scientist Training Program in 2013. She will begin her thesis work in the Henderson Lab in summer 2015. She is interested in the biochemistry of the host-pathogen interface during human bacterial infections.
James Heffernan
Graduate Student
Email: jheffernan@wustl.edu
Jim graduated with a BS in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2012. He joined the DBBS Biochemistry program in 2016 and the Henderson lab in 2017. In his graduate studies, Jim investigates how bacterial siderophores interact with the host during infections.
