Robin's graphic selected for the cover of JBC

Robin Shields-Cutler's graphic was selected to accompany his article on the cover of the June 26 issue of the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

On The Cover: Antimicrobial activity in human urine is strongly influenced by its chemical composition. The presence of some aryl metabolites such as those derived from coffee beverages similar to the espresso on the right promote the iron-sequestering activity of the human antimicrobial protein siderocalin on the spoon on the left (Protein Data Bank code 3HWF). For details see the article by Shields-Cutler et al., pages 15949–15960.
