New from the lab: a thioesterase in pathogenic enterobacteria acts as a "deliberately" low specificity editor of virulence-associated biosynthesis. Great work by Shannon Ohlemacher (PhD, 2017) and Yiquan Xu with fantastic collaborators Tom Brett and his (now graduated) student Dan Kober.
